The Room Left
When you feel you are missing something - a friend, a remembrance, a forgotten smell or feeling - that you despair of finding back, you have to reinvent them. You needed to get rid of it at once because you thought it harmed you, but then you feel sad about never been able to fit it to your life. It's only later than you realize those things you have maybe lost forever, that were the cause of your troubles, could be now the necessary link between your past and your future. But it's gone, and there is nobody in this in-between place. My photography is here to rebuild it. And to put it in the room that I have kept in case I retrieve them. The room that remains.
